What does welding cost?
The hourly rate is 36 to 38 euros. Welding is the most expensive trade on our list because certificates and rework are part of it. If you only need tack welding, say so in the enquiry — otherwise we quote tested seams.
What drives the price
- Process: MIG/MAG is cheaper than TIG on stainless
- Material: aluminium takes longer than structural steel

Questions that come up first
Which certificates do you hold?
ISO 9606 for MIG/MAG and TIG on structural and stainless steel. For special materials we check availability before confirming and decline if we cannot document it.
Do you work in a shop or only on site?
Both. Site assembly is the normal case; for prefabrication we work with shops in Slovenia, so the component arrives finished.
Who inspects the seams?
We perform and document the visual inspection. Non-destructive testing (ultrasonic, X-ray) is commissioned by you with a test institute — we prepare the seam for it.
What does rework cost?
Nothing if the fault is ours. We work under a works contract and are liable for the seam, not just for the hour worked.
