Ventilation

Established crews for ventilation systems: ductwork, unit installation, heat recovery, leakage testing and commissioning. Own German-speaking foreman with A1 certificate. We supply the people; site management stays with you.

Hourly rate€33–37/h
Crew3–8 installers
Lead time5–10 working days

Scope of work

  • Spiral and rectangular ductwork
  • Rooftop and plant-room units
  • Heat recovery
  • Fire dampers and shut-off devices
  • Leakage testing with report
  • Commissioning and balancing

What does ventilation cost?

The hourly rate is 33 to 37 euros including travel, accommodation, tools, insurance and the A1 certificate. Night and weekend work sits at the upper end. Fixed prices are quoted once duct length and unit count are known — on a hall with 800 square metres of ductwork that is the more reliable figure.

What drives the price

  • Duct length and unit count, not the floor area of the hall
  • Working height and scaffolding — rooftop units need more lead time than wall units
  • Night and weekend work in hospitals and live environments

What we do not take on

  • Design and structural calculation of the system
  • Material procurement without an order
  • Service contracts for the running plant

Typical deployments

Industrial hall, southern Germany

Six installers, 14 weeks: rectangular ductwork, two rooftop units with heat recovery, class B leakage test, handover with test report to the site engineer.

Office building, Austria

Four installers, nine weeks: ductwork in suspended ceilings, labelled fire dampers, balancing per floor.

Hospital refurbishment, occupied building

Three installers, six weeks, night work only: replacing part of the network without interrupting operations.

Questions that come up first

Who supplies the ductwork?

Usually the client or their supplier. We can source material and prefabrication through partners; it then appears as its own line in the quote — never hidden in the hourly rate.

Do we get a test report?

Yes. Leakage test and balancing are documented with date, zone and measured values, handed over at acceptance.

Who is liable if the system misses its values?

We are. We work under a works contract with our own foreman — responsibility for the installation sits with us, not with your site engineer.

Can the same people take a second project?

Yes, and that is the normal case. Crews stay together across projects; the foreman knows your requirements from the second deployment on.
